The Wraith Lord is an undead boss found in the 2nd floor of the Rotting Crypt, who was fortold to be guarding an ancient artifact, the Wraithring. This artifact is being pursued by Jessa and her father, before the latter tried to retrieve it himself and disappeared into the crypt. The side quest The Wraithring will then be offered to the player by Jessa, opening the way to a confrontation with the Wraith Lord. The steam achievement unlocked by killing this boss is a reference to Of Montreal's song "Wraith pinned to the mist and other games."

Abilities

The Wraith Lord is a versatile enemy with a wide range of abilities.

• Spectral Weapon - Conjures an Axe or a Mace and swings it; or conjures a Spear and thrusts it from a moderate distance; or conjures a Hammer and slams it on the ground, creating several fissures.
• Raises Ancient Skeletons - Summons 3 Skeletons, randomly chosen from any of these: Crumbling Footsoldier, Ancient Skeletal Shield Warrior, Voltaic Archer, Ancient Skeletal Archer, or Decrepit Chanter.
• Powerful Spells - A couple of long-distance spells, plus a short distance knockback spell.
• Teleportation - Will occasionally teleport away after being struck several times.

Notable Loot

• Spectral Weapon - The Wraith Lord's weapon that will drop only occasionally. Has 4 variations, which are Wraith Lord's Spear, Wraith Lord's Axe, Wraith Lord's Hammer, and Wraith Lord's Mace.
• The Eye of the Wraith Lord - A unqiue gem, he has 15% chance to drop it.
