Warbeasts are monsters found in Torchlight II. They appear in the Temple Steppes and Frosted Hills areas. In the Beast Warrens area of the Steppes, Sturmbeornen have captured wild Warbeasts and are training them as Armored Warbeasts to use in combat.
When a fish is used to change your pet into a Warbeast, it enhances the pets damage. It changed a damage of 32-42 to 53-85. Also changed a level 65 pet's damage from 1578-2063 to 2548-4004.
