Farming General Grell[]
Originally I started farming General Grell by starting a LAN game with a brand-new map after accessing the Temple Steppes zone in the Estherian Steppes. Once I'd beaten Grell and taken his loot, I'd quit the game and re-start a new LAN game with a fresh board, then repeat the process. However, I noticed that after defeating him the first time, I wasn't getting the Boss Chest in subsequent runs. Later, while playing another character I'm using to farm Grand Regent in the Watchweald Temple in Frosted Hills (using the same LAN game refreshing technique), on a whim, I warped into Temple Hills to do a Grell run. Not only did I get the unique drop and the Boss Chest this time, a portal opened to take me right back to the Estherian Enclave, and I could go immediately on to Frosted Hills to farm Grand Regent.
