The Necropolis (also known as The Tomb of the Awakened) covers floors 5 through 8. It covers the second part of the storyline where Syl asks you to find the Overseer's library, although there are two bosses, the last being The Overseer. Once you defeat The Overseer, Syl reads about an Ember Forge that will cure your corruption which is deeper below Torchlight.
