Captain Jacobi (also known as Imperial Railmaster) is an Embercraft Foreman and NPC in charge of carrying the player between the hub areas of each Act of Torchlight II.
He is first seen in the Estherian Enclave, where, when approached, he will inform the player that he still has to take on some supplies before heading out. Once the player has completed Act 1 by saving the Guardian of the Wild, the Railmaster is ordered by Commander Vale to take the player to Zeryphesh in the Ossean Wastes.
From then on, he can be used for transport between Act areas.
