Corrupted Crypt is a dungeon in Act I, located in Path of the Honored Dead. It is the first dungeon player usually visits, and consists of two floors. Inside the dungeon, they hope to reclaim a scroll that contains knowledge on how to put an end to the disease sweeping the land.
The first floor usually has a secret room hidden behind an altar with a face and hands holding a bowl, activated by pressing a sparkling pressure plate on a nearby wall.
The second floor is called Forgotten Chamber. It is here you fight the Fallen Guardian, who holds the Scroll of Anom-Irek, which needs to be obtained for the quest The Scroll of Anom-Irek. It usually spawns as a long corridor-like floor, with up to three skeleton generals in the first third, the Fallen Guardian in the middle third, and a champion undead in the final third. Although players should beware of skeletons that may crawl out from circular pits, these pits can be a reliable area to kite enemies.
